Company Overview. Fortress Equities, LLC is a real estate private equity firm founded in 2007 by seasoned real estate professionals. Our focus is capital preservation coupled with superior returns through the acquisition, management and repositioning of value-add real estate and related debt vehicles. Our philosophy is to pursue undervalued opportunities in fundamentally sound western US locations where we can increase value, generate consistent cash flow and provide superior risk-adjusted returns. Fortress Equities works with high net worth individuals, accredited investors and institutional capital partners. We are highly committed to quality investments and sound business practices and understand the importance of capital preservation above all else. Fortress Equities or its principals co-invests with our partners in each and every investment that we acquire.

Our equity partners receive an attractive 8% preferred return coupled with 80% of net profits over the life of an investment. Team

Fortress Equities, LLC was founded by Dean Jalili and Frank Jalili in 2007 as a wholly owned subsidiary of the Fortress Group, Inc. a multi-dimensional real estate investment company. Our focus is superior returns through the acquisition and repositioning of value-add commercial property.

Prior to founding the company, Dean was a Senior Investment Advisor with Sperry Van Ness where he earned the high accolade of Partner Circle recipient in 2005 and 2006. Dean has been a real estate professional since 2002 when he joined Grubb & Ellis Las Vegas. As a dedicated real estate entrepreneur, Dean has been involved in the acquisition, sale, management and development of retail, office, apartment, industrial and land properties and portfolios both as a principal and as a trusted advisor to private equity and institutional investors alike.

From 2003-2007, Frank Jalili was a Senior Investment Advisor at national commercial brokerage firm, Sperry Van Ness, where he was also involved as an Regional Acquisitions Manager with Trec, a commercial real estate co-ownership firm based in Las Vegas. As a founding member of Fortress Equities, Frank’s focus of non-performing debt and opportunistic real estate acquisitions, was integral to the company’s initial growth between 2007 and 2009.
